Saddle up, cowboy, for what might be the best steak of your life. Hondo's is an experience to say the least. Romantic private rooms ranging from one to ten tables make up the main dining room, which is covered in rich colors accented with wall-length wine racks and framed pictures. The long, wide wood bar area boasts an unusual collection of stuffed animals, from a giant bison head to an armadillo.
As for the menu, take your pick from the prime aged steaks in choices like the cowboy cut rib-eye (on the bone), filet mignon, New York strip and porterhouse. The steak Hondo is an 8 oz. filet mignon topped with lump crabmeat and asparagus. Other entrées include veal chops, lobster tails, crab cakes, ribs and lamb chops.
